On the bright side at least you are still here to post instead of being commemorated with a sticky at the top of the page. Hopefully the prognosis is a good one.

Re: Stroke
Oh bollocks San mate. Sorry. There's some brilliant anticoagulant medication available today to thin the red stuff so hopefully it is not the end of the world, although it probably feels like it at the moment.

Fight the cunting thing and remember at all times that you are West Ham- you can take it x

Re: Stroke
Sorry to hear your problem Saint. Dark days I know but there is real light at the end of the tunnel. The therapy nowadays is excellent and the new meds are really good too. The speech come back, just keep working on it. The mobility too if you’re willing to really put the time in. Fingers crossed for you pal.

Re: Stroke
Sorry to hear that sanfran.
As said work hard at the rehab even if you aren’t seeing immediate improvements
My brother had something similar in April and is progressing well & getting most of his movement back.
Good luck!

Re: Stroke
What a cunt mate . As said ,work hard with the rehab. Can you walk without feeling dizzy? Do you have help at home ? It may take time for blood pressure to come down . Gonna take time mate ,but remember every day above ground is a good day. Talk to us on here. As somebody said on the anxiety thread there’s plenty of cunts on here but also some really nice folk .

Well that was a silly thing to do!

Eat lettuce. Lots of it. Perhaps nothing but it. And get better!

Re: Stroke
I had a few TIAs in Singapore but there was no bleed it was just a symptom of something else

My advice do your own check on google for meds you are taking to see if they are any conflicts. I have found loads. I was taking something for a year and no doctor could tell me why I was taking them for so long

Keep strong and we have a thread pinned if you need some support
